When I was a little girl I would spend Friday nights with my Grandma. On Saturday mornings we would walk around downtown Poplar Bluff visiting the Goodwill, the five and dive, and eating two jelly donuts at Daylight Donuts. I remember looking at all the little cups at the Goodwill. We would return with a little jar or cup or container. I would fill the little vessels with flowers from Grandma’s yard. Did grandma encourage this behavior or was I a born flower girl? Do our experiences become our path or does the path dictate the experience? I still love to put beauty in containers: flowers, veggies, fruits, rocks. Everything is better when it has a container to live and love and be cherished.
